Operations Executive.

FINANCE & LEGAL
Job Description: ABOUT THE TEAM Media Operations is the engine behind campaign delivery at Dentsu MENA. The team sits at the centre of the agency, working alongside trading, planning, client service, analytics and finance to make sure that what is planned is what gets delivered, what gets delivered is what gets reported, and what gets reported is what gets billed. The team supports a wide portfolio of clients rather than a single account. Each client brings its own naming conventions, reporting requirements, billing rules and ways of working, and the team’s job is to bring consistency, accuracy and pace to all of them. THE ROLE We are looking for an Operations Executive to join our Media Operations team in a junior, entry-level position. You will support the end-to-end delivery of media campaigns across multiple channels and multiple clients, helping to turn a media plan into a live, accurately tracked, correctly reported and properly billed campaign. A core part of the role is campaign taxonomy creation: building the structured naming conventions and tracking codes that sit behind every campaign, so that data can be connected and reported on accurately from launch through to billing. Alongside this, you will help with bookings, materials, campaign monitoring, data checks, reconciliation and billing support. You do not need prior agency or media experience. This role is open to recent graduates as well as candidates with around a year of experience. What matters most is curiosity, care for detail, and the ability to think differently. We want someone who asks why things are done a certain way, spots a smarter or simpler approach, and is not afraid to suggest it. TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT Full training will be provided. You will not be expected to arrive knowing our platforms, processes or terminology. From your first weeks you will be supported to learn: How media campaigns are planned, booked, launched, tracked and reported across digital and traditional channels. How to build and apply campaign taxonomies, naming conventions and tracking codes for different clients. The media platforms, ad servers and reporting tools the team uses day to day. Media reconciliation, invoice validation and the agency billing cycle. You will learn on the job alongside experienced team members, with structured guidance and regular check-ins, and you will be given increasing ownership as your confidence grows. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Taxonomy Creation and Campaign Setup Create campaign taxonomies, naming conventions and tracking codes in line with each client’s agreed structure and rules. Make sure taxonomy is applied consistently across platforms, so campaign data flows cleanly from activation through to reporting and billing. Quality-check taxonomy and campaign setup before launch, and correct errors quickly when they are found. Keep taxonomy documentation and reference sheets up to date, and suggest improvements that make the process faster and less error-prone. Campaign Delivery and Execution Support the operational execution of media campaigns across digital and traditional channels, making sure activities are delivered accurately and on time. Help manage campaign bookings, material specifications, asset collection and distribution in line with media owner requirements and client expectations. Run pre-launch checks and help monitor live campaigns, flagging anything that could affect delivery, quality or spend. Keep a clear status view of the campaigns you are working on, and raise risks early. Stakeholder and Partner Coordination Work closely with Media Operations, Trading, Planning, Client Service, Finance and media vendors to keep campaigns moving. Build good working relationships with media owners, platforms, suppliers and internal teams across the region. Follow the team’s request intake and briefing processes so that every task is logged, prioritised and traceable. Data, Reporting and Reconciliation Extract, consolidate and check campaign data from media platforms, ad servers and vendor reports. Help prepare spend and delivery reconciliation reports comparing booked, delivered and reported figures. Flag data gaps, tracking issues and inconsistencies, and work with the relevant teams to fix them. Billing Support Support billing processes through invoice vouching and validation. Reconcile media delivery records against supplier invoices and campaign bookings. Help investigate invoice discrepancies, billing mismatches and delivery variances. Keep accurate records of campaign costs, media delivery and supporting documentation. Process Improvement and New Ideas Bring fresh thinking to the team: question existing ways of working and propose simpler, faster or more creative solutions. Look for opportunities to reduce manual effort through templates, checklists, automation and smarter use of tools. Follow internal processes, financial controls and data governance standards. Maintain strict confidentiality and separation of information between client accounts, including clients that operate in the same category. General Support Provide operational and administrative support to the Media Operations and Trading teams as required. Get involved in special projects, system updates and wider initiatives across the MENA operations function. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Essential A recent graduate, or someone with up to around one year of work experience in a digitally focused role. Out-of-the-box thinking: a curious, creative problem solver who is comfortable challenging the status quo and suggesting better ways of doing things. Strong attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership over accuracy. Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle several tasks and deadlines. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and numbers, and keen to build stronger data skills. Clear written and verbal communication in English. A willingness to learn quickly, ask questions and take on feedback. Ability to work well in a team in a fast-paced environment. Advantageous An understanding of digital media, such as how online advertising, social media, search or programmatic campaigns work. A degree in marketing, business, media, data, finance or a related field. Familiarity with spreadsheet functions such as pivot tables and lookups. Arabic language skills. An interest in automation, data or workflow tools. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Taxonomy: You are confidently creating and applying taxonomies for the clients you support, with minimal corrections needed. Delivery: Campaigns you work on launch on time, with correct bookings, materials and tracking. Accuracy: Your data checks and reconciliations are accurate and delivered on schedule. Growth: You have learned the core platforms and processes and are taking on more ownership. Fresh thinking: You have put forward new ideas, and at least one has improved how the team works. WHY JOIN US A strong starting point for a career in media, ad operations and marketing technology, with full training provided. Exposure to a broad portfolio of leading global and regional brands across multiple industries and markets. A central role in a team that connects media, data and finance, giving you a complete view of how campaigns are run. Room to make an impact: your ideas will be heard, and good ones will be put into practice. Learning and development within a global network, with clear opportunities to grow.
