As a Managed Services - Management company Accounting- Manager you will oversee outsourced accounting processes, guide client service workstreams, and help manage data review, quality controls, and escalation handling. As a Manager, you will lead teams, coach staff, manage performance, and drive assigned projects with autonomous judgment while bringing a practical understanding of business operations and a commitment to integrity and authenticity. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will support client interactions, monitor process execution, and apply technology and process improvement methods to help deliver consistent service within our Managed Services practice. Responsibilities - Leading managed service delivery workstreams for outsourced company accounting processes across client engagements - Managing team priorities, coaching staff, and reviewing deliverables to support timely and accurate production - Coordinating client accounting activities such as data review, financial processing, account reconciliation, and issue resolution - Monitoring quality controls, validation steps, and process documentation to support consistent service delivery - Analyzing workflow performance, root causes, and control gaps to identify process improvements and automation opportunities - Overseeing escalations, resolving accounting and service questions, and communicating progress to client stakeholders - Applying financial reporting knowledge and AWM managed services knowledge to support fund, finance, and operational activities - Using digital tools, service management practices, and data quality skills to streamline recurring accounting operations - Developing team capabilities through feedback, mentoring, and review of work products - Identifying opportunities to improve service levels, scalability, and operating efficiency across accounting processes What You Must Have - MBA/Postgraduate with good knowledge in accounting and finance. - Strong Accounting Expertise: 8-10 years of hands-on experience in corporate/advisor accounting with deep exposure to journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, variance analysis, and month-end close activities. - Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing teams, driving performance, handling escalations, conducting 1:1s, and partnering with global/onshore stakeholders for investigations, reporting, and process improvements - Process Transformation & Systems Expertise: Experience driving automation, process improvement, and operational efficiencies, with exposure to Oracle, Essbase, Sigma, or similar ERP/accounting platforms being highly preferred What Sets You Apart - Managing client accounting engagements within managed services environments - Overseeing planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery milestones - Coaching teams through financial reporting and operational workflows - Applying Asset and Wealth Management knowledge across complex portfolios - Reviewing work for quality, timelines, and client expectations - Using technology and analytics to modernize finance operations Travel Requirements Job Posting End Date Are you ready to make a difference?
