Job Overview: Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Journeyman Lineman for overhead distribution work in Raleigh, NC. This position supports the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead electrical distribution systems. Job Responsibilities Construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution lines, poles, conductors, transformers, and related equipment. Perform energized and de-energized work within established qualifications and safety procedures. Perform switching, grounding, and tagging procedures as authorized. Troubleshoot overhead distribution systems. Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks, and hand and power tools as qualified. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders. Follow company safety standards and applicable requirements. Provide guidance to apprentices and less experienced crew members. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Support emergency outages and storm restoration, including overtime and adverse weather conditions, as needed. Job Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Completion of a recognized lineworker apprenticeship or equivalent journeyman-level training and experience. Experience performing overhead electrical distribution work at the journeyman level. Knowledge of electrical theory, distribution systems, and safe work practices. Proficiency with line construction tools and equipment. Ability to work at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills. Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL as required for assigned duties.
