What you will do Perform the installation of fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial and industrial application. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner. How you will do it As sprinkler installer, you will efficiently and neatly perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems. You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures. In this position you will be provided verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs. Capable of performing physical labor; perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work area. You will have a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly. What we look for Required 5 years' documented experience in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems or equivalent mechanical background. Sprinkler Foreman experience. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers and team members. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements. Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. Able to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State and Local codes. Preferred OSHA/MSHA/NICET Certifications HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29-40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
