As One Bank, we are committed to helping our colleagues build sustainable careers grounded in purpose, supported by strong values, and enriched with meaningful opportunities to grow. Job Description Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Business Analysis to provide business analysis and transformation leadership across the Trade Finance and Supplier Financing portfolio. The role will lead the translation of business strategy into scalable solutions spanning Trade Finance, Supplier Financing, digital channels, process transformation, data and AI. The SVP will operate as a senior bridge between Business, Product, Operations, Technology, Data and external solution partners, ensuring business requirements are strategically aligned, operationally viable and executable. The role will also provide leadership across complex enterprise-wide transformation programmes, establish strong business analysis standards, drive stakeholder alignment and mentor a team of business analysts through the end-to-end delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Transformation Leadership Lead business analysis for large-scale Trade Finance and Supplier Financing transformation programmes, from early-stage discovery and business case through implementation and post-implementation stabilization. Partner with senior Business, Product and Technology stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into target-state capabilities, business architecture, transformation roadmaps and executable initiatives. Challenge existing operating models and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation, digitisation, automation and AI adoption. Assess business benefits, dependencies, implementation risks and change impacts to support senior management decision-making. Maintain alignment between business strategy, client experience, operational requirements and technology investment. 2. Trade & Supplier Financing Domain Leadership Provide strong functional leadership across Trade and Supplier Financing products and processes, including areas such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Documentary Collections, Open Account, Supply Chain Finance, Supplier Finance, Receivables/Invoice Financing and related transaction servicing. Lead end-to-end analysis across client onboarding, transaction initiation, processing, approval, settlement, accounting, limits, controls, reporting and servicing. Drive harmonisation of business processes and requirements across products, markets and operating units where appropriate. Identify opportunities to reduce manual processing, operational complexity and client friction while strengthening transaction controls. 3. Requirements & Solution Leadership Lead complex workshops and cross-functional discussions to define business requirements, target processes and solution approaches. Own the quality and completeness of key BA artefacts including BRDs, process maps, business rules, data dictionaries, client journeys, user stories and acceptance criteria. Ensure business requirements are traceable from strategic objectives through design, build, testing and implementation. Work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements without unnecessary customisation or complexity. Provide senior-level challenge where proposed solutions do not adequately address business outcomes, control requirements or scalability. 4. Client & Operational Experience Apply an end-to-end perspective to improve both client and operations experience, rather than optimising individual process steps in isolation. Define target client journeys covering onboarding, transaction submission, status tracking, document exchange, exception handling and servicing. Identify opportunities for straight-through processing, workflow optimisation, self-service and automation. Ensure new solutions balance client experience with operational efficiency, control and scalability. 5. Team Leadership & BA Practice Lead, mentor and develop Business Analysts across complex transformation initiatives. Establish consistent BA methodologies, documentation standards and quality expectations. Review and challenge requirements and solution artefacts produced by the BA team. Develop stronger Trade Finance domain knowledge and structured problem-solving capabilities across the team. Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation.
