Qualifications:
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in digital content management, distribution, or related roles within the music or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record managing content on YouTube, including Content ID and rights management.
- Experience working with major DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music) and digital distribution platforms.
- Demonstrated success optimizing content for discoverability and performance on digital platforms.
Technical Skills
- knowledge of YouTube CMS, Content ID system, and YouTube Analytics.
- Proficiency with content management systems, digital asset management platforms, and distribution tools (e.g., Fuga, The Orchard, IDOL, Believe's platforms).
- Understanding of metadata standards, including DDEX, ISRC, UPC, and industry taxonomies.
- Accepted level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with audio/video formats, codecs, and technical specifications.
Industry Knowledge
- Understanding of music copyright (master recordings vs. publishing), licensing, and royalty flows.
- Knowledge of DSP ecosystems, algorithms, and editorial processes.
