We are looking for a Demi Chef de Partie, Pastry to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute, learn and grow while helping shape the experiences and impact we create across Costa Navarino.
In this position, you will support daily pastry operations by preparing quality desserts, maintaining brand standards and food safety, assisting with team coordination, and ensuring proper stock management.
Responsibilities
Prepare and produce the assigned pastry and dessert items according to established standards.
Demonstrate the proper and safe use of all pastry equipment.
Follow established procedures for food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation.
Respond appropriately to guests’ needs during daily operations.
Monitor orders for all food and beverage outlets, ensuring appropriate quantities and stock levels.
Complete daily HACCP documentation, including temperature records.
Assist supervisors with material orders and check incoming deliveries.
Assist and guide team members with their assigned tasks.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Pastry Arts.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the same position or at least 3 years as a Commis Chef. Experience in an international 5-star hotel chain will be considered an advantage.
Good command of Greek and, preferably, English, both written and spoken.
Good knowledge of hygiene practices and HACCP standards.
Ability to work under pressure, with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to ensure that tasks and recipes meet established quality standards.
Commitment to following cleaning schedules and maintaining a clean working environment.
