This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. As a Tool Hire Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the Tool Hire function, driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, maximising profitability and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety. What You’ll Be Doing Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Tool Hire function, ensuring efficient operations and high standards. Building strong customer relationships and growing sales through cross-selling and upselling. Ensuring equipment is available to meet customer needs and maintaining appropriate stock levels. Coaching colleagues, providing feedback and supporting their development. Resolving customer queries and complaints professionally. Ensuring equipment is handled safely and all health and safety procedures are followed. Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to maximise profitability and deliver an excellent customer experience. What We’re Looking For Previous experience in Tool Hire, ideally with team leadership or management experience. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. A proactive approach to sales, with the ability to identify opportunities to grow the business. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day operations effectively. A commitment to health and safety and maintaining high standards. A supportive leadership style, with the ability to coach, motivate and develop colleagues.
