E&C

Toronto

Energy Cost Analyst for the North American Market.

FULL TIMEREMOTEPEOPLE & OPSCA$65K–100K/MO

Hi! My name is Joanna. Togheter with Monika and her Team, I am looking for a new talent to support our clients around North America.

Not yet sure if that's a job for you? Keep reading if competencies describing you are:

  • Analytical & Synthetic: Proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data for clients and colleagues

  • Flexibility & Time Management: Ability to multitask and maintain a structured overview of priorities and deadlines

  • Independence: Taking initiative and working independently to set and achieve goals (don't worry, we still give you lot of support!)

  • Planning & Organizing: readiness to coordinate deliverables of financial controllers within the same client and present in meetings

  • Transparency: Readiness to share your strengths but also your struggles with us, be open and critical

  • Number crunching: it's your thing although you do not shy away from occasionally accompanying 1 of our consultants into a client meeting to help present the budget forecasting

Sounds like you? Great! Those are the tasks you can use those competencies for at E&C:

  • Working with data of international clients regarding energy consumption and cost with the aim to support clients in saving money / spending less money on energy

  • Focusing on clients’ sites to check validity of invoices, monitoring spend vs. budget, evolution of energy consumption, capacity/tariff optimization, etc.

  • Owning a client portfolio and become an expert in financial controlling of energy data

  • Working closely with consultants to provide the highest quality of service to our clients

  • Setting up and updating energy budgets for our clients

  • Following up on different energy price parameters in different countries

  • Developing and preparing various energy data reports for our clients

What else is so great about becoming an E&Cer?

  • Working for a Great Place To Work certified company

  • Full-time contract with flexible working hours

  • Balance Days resulting in 46 days off / year

  • Flexible hybrid/remote work mode possible

  • International environment with more than 30 nationalities

  • Intensive onboarding procedure with a buddy and an internal training program

  • Regular discussions on your role(s) and competencies with your team leader, allow you to define a challenging career path that makes the best use of your talents and interests

Already feeling like E&C is a place for you? Just some last good to haves … !

  • Degree or experience in Finance or Energy - however, if you’re from a totally different field and think energy costs are your next big thing, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Experience in diving into complex data and understanding how it all connects

  • Good at communicating – whether that’s explaining ideas or chatting with teammates

  • A pro with Excel, not afraid of wrangling through big data sets

  • Someone who values diversity and inclusion, and brings that mindset to work

If you are still here and reading, you must be really interested. Great, as E&C is the best place to be! Last but not least then, a sneak peek into our application process:

  • First interview with the Team - 1 hour

  • Assessment: online ability tests + personality questionnaire - 45min

  • Final round interview: Business case (can be prepared in advance) & discussion on the online assessment  - 90min
