Redfin is one of the most recognized names in residential real estate, a technology-powered brokerage and search platform that has spent two decades reshaping how people find, tour, buy, sell, and rent a home. Millions of people start their housing search on Redfin every month. Together, Redfin and its Rentals network, including Rent. and ApartmentGuide, reach more than 50 million monthly visitors across the housing market. Redfin is now part of Rocket Companies (NYSE: RKT), joining Rocket Mortgage, Mr. Cooper, Rocket Homes, Rocket Close, Rocket Money, and Rocket Loans in a single connected ecosystem spanning search, financing, closing, servicing, and everyday personal finance. That combination puts Redfin at the front of the largest homeownership platform in the country, and gives its product teams a view of the client journey that no standalone portal or brokerage can match. As a Senior Data Scientist on Redfin’s Growth Analytics team, you’ll leverage rich website and app behavioral data to uncover insights that drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, conversion, and business growth. You’ll analyze how users interact with Redfin across buyer, seller, renter, and mortgage journeys; identify customer needs and conversion drivers; measure the impact of business initiatives; and partner with Product and Engineering to shape Redfin’s growth strategy. About the role Solve complex problems: Translate ambiguous business questions into actionable analyses that inform growth strategy and business decisions. Develop predictive models: Build statistical and forecasting models to anticipate user behavior and estimate business outcomes. Partner and influence: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business leaders to identify opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and communicate actionable recommendations. About you 5+ years of experience in Data Science, working with product and user data, with a track record of driving measurable impact for consumer-facing products at scale. 3+ years of hands-on statistical modeling experience using Python and/or R. Expert-level SQL skills and strong proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and data visualization. Experience with Tableau, Python-based data processing and ETL is preferred. Demonstrated practical use of AI tools in analytics workflows, with examples of measurable improvements in analytical speed, quality, or productivity.
