AECOM is seeking a talented and motivated Sector Manager to join our dynamic team based in Adelaide.
The position will support the execution of sector strategy by driving local growth, client engagement, and delivery excellence, while fostering team development, implementing digital initiatives, and ensuring strong governance and collaboration across the region.
How you'll make a difference
- Deliver sustainable growth through all pursuits, client engagement, and market differentiation in the region
- Represent AECOM in the local market by developing strong relationships with clients and industry partners
- Identify recruitment needs in consultation with Team Managers and Sector Director
- Ensure delivery excellence across all regional projects, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction
- Deliver on the implementation of digital initiatives within the sector
- Ensure project governance and approval requirements are implemented and met across the team
- Actively support projects in a governance capacity and across local portfolios.
- Lead/participate in bid decisions, project risk reviews, project setup reviews, periodic governance reviews.
The qualities that help you thrive

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Engineering Science or related qualifications
- Experience in team leadership and growth within a consulting services context, within the mining and/or industrial sectors
- Strong client relationship management skills and experience
- Demonstrated P&L and project delivery / project commercial acumen.
