Roles and Responsibility: Quality Management Lead all quality-related activities for the IM Plant. Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and company quality standards. Monitor and improve product quality performance through effective quality planning and control. Drive defect reduction and process capability improvement initiatives. Process Quality Assurance Establish and maintain process controls for Injection Molding operations. Monitor key quality parameters and implement corrective actions when deviations occur. Conduct process audits and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Validate process changes and support new product introductions. Customer Quality Management Handle customer quality issues, complaints, and corrective action implementation. Lead root cause analysis using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA. Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and quality concerns. Participate in customer audits and support customer quality requirements. Team Leadership Guide and mentor quality inspectors and quality engineers assigned to the IM Plant. Conduct training on quality standards, inspection methods, and problem-solving techniques. Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement. Data Analysis & Reporting Monitor quality KPIs such as PPM, rejection rates, customer complaints, COPQ, and audit findings. Prepare and present quality performance reports to management. Drive actions based on trend analysis and operational data. Audit & Compliance Lead internal audits and facilitate external/customer audits. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (if applicable), and other relevant standards. Support management reviews and closure of audit non-conformities. Continuous Improvement Lead quality improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies. Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve overall plant performance. Drive cost reduction initiatives related to quality losses and rework. Role Specific Competencies: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Plastics Engineering from CIPET / MSc in Polymer Science or related field 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within a manufacturing environment and Minimum 3 years of experience in Injection Molding operations. Injection Molding process knowledge. Quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans. Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, CAPA. Statistical analysis and quality reporting. Internal and external audit management. Behavioral Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability. Effective communication and stakeholder management. Result-oriented and proactive approach. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
