What you will do: Proficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, EZ Reach, dock trucks. Responsible for the timely and accurate movement of components used in manufacturing. Management of material flow into the production scheme. Coordinate the flow of materials requiring transportation within the manufacturing facility. Works with quality and production to manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant. Maintain a computerized inventory system (ERP), reconciling discrepancies as required. Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification and traceability. Conducts fact finding and problem solving as required. Assist the Team leader with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
