Executive Operations/Scheduler
Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-Office)
Mission
LENS’s mission is to end traffic accidents. LENS prevents accidents and saves lives by detecting hazards to prevent accidents before they happen.
Platform & Product
LENS Detect scans CCTV feeds on highways to identify hazards, in real-time, before they become accidents. Public Safety agencies, alongside Departments of Transportation, receive alerts on the LENS Detect dashboard about Disabled Vehicles, Stalled Big Rigs, and Pedestrians on Freeway. A dispatcher reviews and validates the detection, and then dispatches an officer to the scene to assist the person in need — resulting in either preventing an accident or saving a life.
CBS LA recently did a three minute TV feature that succinctly captures what LENS is doing with Public Safety Agencies in one of the largest traffic capitals in the world:

Role & Responsibilities
As an Executive Operations/Scheduler, you seek transformational change. You do not accept the status quo that accidents are an accepted inevitability, or that they just happen. Instead, you believe when the root cause of an accident can be known in advance, the accident can and should be prevented. You work with fellow Preventers that share this core belief, using LENS to prevent accidents and save lives.
Your responsibilities are:
Executive calendar management. Own and manage the Co-Founder/CEO's calendar, proactively coordinating complex schedules, meetings, and competing priorities. Ensure time is allocated effectively, conflicts are anticipated and resolved, and the calendar reflects the highest-value use of the Co-Founder/CEO's time.
Scheduling and coordination. Manage the scheduling process from initial outreach through confirmed meetings, coordinating with internal team members, external partners, investors, public agencies, and other stakeholders. Navigate competing availability, multiple time zones, and last-minute changes with efficiency and sound judgment. Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively identify solutions before they become disruptions.
Project and operational support. As needs arise, support special projects and operational initiatives that help the Co-Founder/CEO and broader business operate more effectively. Bring organization, follow-through, and attention to detail to projects that require additional coordination or execution.
Provide operational support to leadership and the business. Keep leadership on top of deadlines and deliverables, plan and manage LENS internal events, and support cross-functional projects and special initiatives as needed.
Mindset, Principles, and Skills & Experience
Your mindset is grounded in:
Anticipation over reaction. You read what is needed before it is asked, remove friction before it slows anyone down, and hold the context that keeps leadership focused on what matters most.
Precision is care. Getting the details exactly right - the right time, the right attendees, the right prep - is how you express commitment to the mission and respect for everyone's time.
Ownership without ego. You take full responsibility for the outcomes in your domain. You don't wait to be told what to do next when the right next step is clear.
Principles you share with us are:
We are well-organized. The more organized you are the stronger our overall operations are, enabling us to continue to collaborate & create at higher and higher levels.
Invest the most time where it makes the most progress. You evaluate every task and priority by the impact it will have on the CEO's effectiveness and the company's ability to move the mission forward.
Begin with the end in mind. You understand what a successful outcome looks like before you start, and you work backwards to ensure every step is accounted for.
The Skills & Experience you have are:
8+ years of experience supporting leaders, including at least 4-6 years supporting senior executives (CEO, Founder, or C-suite equivalent) in a high-velocity environment, ideally within a startup, venture-backed company, or similarly fast-moving organization. Experience supporting a CEO is strongly preferred.
Exceptional calendar and time orchestration skills, including managing complex, high-volume, multi-stakeholder schedules across multiple time zones, with the ability to continuously prioritize and re-prioritize based on business urgency and executive focus.
Demonstrated ability to operate in high-stakes, high-trust environments, where scheduling errors, missed context, or poor judgment can materially impact business relationships or strategic outcomes.
Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to draft clear, polished, and context-aware emails, briefing materials, agendas, talking points, and follow-ups on behalf of senior leadership.
High judgment and discretion, with a consistent track record of handling confidential information appropriately, including sensitive business discussions, personnel matters, investor communications, and external partnerships.
Operational excellence across tools and systems, including Google Workspace, Slack, calendar platforms, and task management systems (Notion or equivalent).
Comfort and fluency with AI-enabled productivity tools, using them to increase speed, accuracy, and leverage in communication, scheduling, and coordination workflows.
Experience in environments with external-facing leadership responsibilities, ideally including exposure to government stakeholders, public sector partners, enterprise customers, or similarly formal/high-sensitivity external relationships.
The time to accept traffic accidents is ending, and the time to prevent them is beginning. This belief is becoming more of an inevitable reality every day. The number of people public agencies and departments are helping with LENS keeps growing faster and faster. If you want to enable LENS leadership to accelerate our vision of an accident-free world, this role is for you.
