Its key priorities include digital transformation, operational excellence and customer experience, all aimed at driving growth and enhancing efficiency.

About the Role

As a Trade Operations Specialist, you will support the daily delivery of customs and trade services across client projects. The role combines document review, data processing and operational coordination, with responsibility for completing assigned activities accurately and within agreed deadlines.

Alongside daily operations, you will contribute to practical process improvements using Excel and other digital tools, including AI and automation where appropriate. Training will be provided on the relevant client requirements, procedures and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Trade and Customs Operations:

Data Management and Reporting:

· Organise, analyse and reconcile operational data using relevant systems and tools.

· Investigate discrepancies and support operational reporting.

· Maintain trackers and ensure information is accurate and up to date.

Operational Coordination:

· Manage daily priorities across different client projects and follow up on outstanding requests.

· Coordinate with clients, colleagues and external partners to resolve routine queries and obtain missing information.

· Support the setup of new operational projects and updates to existing procedures.

Process Improvement and Digitalisation:

· Identify opportunities to simplify recurring activities and improve operational accuracy.

· Use Excel and other digital tools to support efficient data processing and operational activities.

· Support the use of AI and automation solutions where appropriate and in line with company and client requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to handling documents and data.

· Comfortable with recurring operational activities requiring a high level of accuracy and consistency.

· Good organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities across different client activities.

· Strong practical Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and comparing datasets.

· Confidence in using digital tools and learning new business systems.

· Experience using AI tools to support daily work and improve efficiency, with the ability to assess outputs for accuracy.

· Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to follow-up and problem-solving.

· Ability to work independently after training and recognise when additional guidance is required.

· Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

An advantage, but not required:

· Previous experience or an internship in operations or data processing, ideally within customs, trade or logistics.

· Experience using automation or digital solutions to simplify manual tasks.

· Familiarity with SAP or similar business systems.

· French or another additional language.
