At Specialty Dental Brands, we support pediatric dentistry, orthodontic, oral surgery, and multispecialty practices across the country. We help our practices grow while preserving the clinical autonomy, culture, and community connections that make each one special.
We’re looking for a Residency Outreach Liaison to introduce future specialists to the people and opportunities behind SDB. From connecting with program directors to hosting resident dinners and attending conferences, you’ll build relationships that help residents and fellows find a practice where they can thrive.
Location & Travel
This hybrid role is based at our Home Office in The Nations neighborhood of Nashville. Candidates must be able to commute to Nashville on a weekly basis. Approximately 50% nationwide travel is required, including overnight trips for residency visits, conferences, and events.
What You’ll Do

Build lasting relationships with residency and fellowship program directors, coordinators, residents, and fellows.

Partner with Recruitment, Clinical Leadership, and Operations to understand practice opportunities and hiring priorities.

Identify residency and fellowship programs that align with our practices’ needs.

Plan and host resident dinners, educational sessions, presentations, and networking events that create welcoming opportunities to connect.

Introduce residents and fellows to SDB’s affiliated practices, mentorship opportunities, and career paths.

Create and present outreach materials that bring our mission and practice cultures to life.

Stay connected with prospective candidates throughout their training, learning about their interests and career goals.

Keep outreach activity and candidate information current in our CRM and ATS.

Represent SDB at state, regional, and national conferences.

Collaborate with provider alumni and clinical leaders to strengthen program partnerships.
What You’ll Bring
-
3–5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, physician recruitment, staffing, residency engagement, or a related healthcare setting.

Experience planning and coordinating events.

An approachable communication style and confidence presenting to groups.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with Zoom, Webex, or similar virtual meeting platforms is a plus.

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.

Availability for approximately 50% nationwide travel, including overnight stays.
