About the role
As Waiter/Waitress B at Agali Hotel Paxos, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service in a fast paced dining environment. You will serve food and beverages and support your colleagues to create a positive dining experience for every guest.
What you will do
Guest service
- Welcome guests warmly and promptly.
- Support the Waiter/Waitress A in taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Provide attentive and courteous service throughout the meal, responding to guests' needs and preferences.
- Thank guests warmly as they leave and invite them to return.
Operations
- Set and clear tables promptly, removing dishes, glassware and cutlery.
- Keep dining areas clean and organised.
- Help maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Support the Waiter/Waitress A in maintaining our service standards with friendly, courteous and professional service.
Teamwork
- Work with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure food and beverages are delivered on time.
Requirements
What you will bring
Essential
- Conversational English.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage several priorities at once.
- Good organisational skills, with a proactive approach and an eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build strong working relationships within the department and across the hotel.
Desirable
- Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a luxury environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- A high school diploma or vocational training in hospitality.
