Facility Coordinator – Custodial Training Support – JLL What this job involves: As a Facility Coordinator supporting Custodial Training, you will provide general facilities management services while playing a key role in building and sustaining a well-trained custodial workforce. Working closely with property managers, you will help handle routine property management operations, including procurement of supplies and services, purchase order issuance, bid and contract management, and processing of accounts payable/receivable. On the training side, you will coordinate the logistics behind new hire onboarding and skills development, ensuring custodial staff are equipped, scheduled, and certified to maintain high facility standards. This role is essential to JLL's commitment to operational excellence and workforce readiness at client sites. What your day-to-day will look like: Maintain the weekly custodial training calendar and support scheduling of training managers and sessions. Assist with new hire onboarding, including orientation, system login setup, safe schools training, and attendance tracking. Support delivery of the custodial new hire curriculum and hands-on training modules, including set-up and breakdown of training topics. Manage uniform distribution and inventory, along with custodial equipment maintenance and supply ordering. Prepare certificates of completion and training resource materials at the conclusion of each program. Support general property administration tasks, including procurement, purchase orders, and contract/bid coordination. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in facilities management, building, business, or related field. 2+ years of experience in Facility or Property Administration. Knowledge of custodial operations and best practices. Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations. Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage work independently under time constraints. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), including the ability to customize administrative reports in Excel. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Bilingual language skills. Location: Chicago, IL (on-site at Harper High School) Work Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Salary: $24.18 - $29.56 This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
