About the Department:
Henry Ford St John Hospital’s Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit is a 27-bed unit specializing in behavioral health. We support the medical and mental well being of our patients throughout their stay, an average of 5-10 days (longer depending on their specific need). We operate as a team for the wellbeing of all our patients, and we are supported by three Psychiatrists and multiple Behavioral Health Technicians daily.
Our beautifully renovated unit (January 2024) is designed with our patients in mind. Our close-knit unit fosters a growth mindset encouraging voluntary participation in shared governance, and educational development. We welcome nursing candidates with at least one year of prior medical nursing experience, who are willing to learn all about behavioral health. Come join our team!
