This role is responsible to providing accurate, timely, and relevant financial information to internal and external stakeholders to support informed decision-making. As a key member of our corporate accounting team, you will partner with departments across the organization to provide support and drive our financial processes and results. The Senior Corporate Accountant will: Acts as a key member of the corporate accounting team to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with the Company's accounting policies. Assume responsibility for assigned components of the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring deliverables within established timelines. Own the accounting, reconciliation, and analysis of assigned corporate accounts, including payroll and benefits, corporate expense allocations, debt and other liabilities. Work with various stakeholders to ensure that corporate accruals are properly recorded and reconciled. Act as a key liaison between Finance and operations to address accounting and informational needs. Support the external audit process through the preparation of variance analysis, supporting working papers, and liaising with external auditors. Support the Manager, Corporate Accounting in accounting functions and implementation of the Company's policies and procedures Other duties as assigned. To be successful as a Senior Corporate Accountant with People Corporation, you will need: 5 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or in the final stages of achieving a CPA designation is preferred. Experience in Workday Financials or other ERP systems. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, internal control frameworks, and applicable regulations. Strong communication skills both written and oral. Able to build effective relationships and work within and across functions. Demonstrate a high level of independence, accountability, reliability, adaptability, and innovation in accomplishing day to day work and long-term goals. Strong interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Detail oriented and highly organized. Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
