#LI-DNI The successful candidate will support the Munich transactions team in evaluating, structuring and closing real estate acquisitions and sales for LaSalle's existing and future portfolios. The focus is on German transactions, with additional support for deals in Southern Europe, CEE, the Netherlands and the NordicThe role will play a key part in evaluating opportunities across a divers set of asset classes, several European markets and Core, Core+ and Value-Add strategies. It involves close collaboration with experienced colleagues in a European team across Paris, Munich, London, Madrid and Amsterdam, with increasing responsibility for deal evaluation and execution over time. This role requires working on several transactions in parallel, with strong prioritization, responsiveness and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Support the underwriting and evaluation of real estate investment opportunities, including direct assets, joint ventures and co-investments, and recommend which opportunities to pursue Perform due diligence on each transaction, including property visits, data room review and coordination of external advisors, and assess the market and business plan behind each opportunity Prepare and review financial models independently and with limited oversight, set the underlying assumptions, perform sensitivity analysis and identify the key value drivers Work closely with colleagues from other departments across several countries, such as Fund Management, Asset Management, Research, Investor Relations and Finance, to validate the assumptions behind each underwriting Support the execution of transactions through to closing and taking part in internal and external meetings, due diligence sessions and data room management Prepare internal investment decision and committee materials Required Qualifications & Experience: University degree with a strong academic record in finance, real estate, economics or engineering Up to 2 years of experience in real estate investment through internships or first job Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English, with the ability to present analytical findings clearly and concisely Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong financial modeling expertise, including experience in underwriting real estate investments from scratch Strong organisation and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment Ability to build strong internal and external networks Understanding of the complex investment fundamentals of each individual transaction and the underlying sectors/assets Ability to work both independently and as a team within an international environment, in a reactive and accountable manner and demonstrating initiative LaSalle is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from all sections of the community.
