Available schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM + optional OT on Friday and Saturday or Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM + optional OT on Friday and Saturday Scope: Performs a wide range of assembly and troubleshooting tasks with moderate independence. Core Responsibilities Independently read and interpret: • Blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and schematics Assemble and install: • Harnesses • Switch panels • Electrical and mechanical components • Program lighting systems per engineering specifications. Troubleshoot: • 12V DC and 110V AC systems Perform repairs and rebuilds on: • Mechanical • Electrical • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Conduct functional testing and diagnose faults. • Trace wiring, repair connections, and replace components as needed. • Perform equipment setup and changeovers • Identify discrepancies in prints, BOMs, and shop orders. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of: • Electrical systems (12V DC & 110V AC) • Mechanical assembly processes • Ability to interpret engineering documentation independently. • Familiarity with hydraulic systems (preferred). Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions. Identify non-conforming products and assist with corrective/preventive actions. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. The pay scale for newly hired employees in this position at this location in New York is (16.00 – 26.50).
