Dandy is transforming the massive and antiquated dental industry—an industry worth over $400B. Backed by some of the world’s leading venture capital firms, we’re on an ambitious mission to simplify and modernize every function of the dental practice through technology. As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients.

About the Role

Dandy is hiring an experienced HR professional to join our rapidly growing, venture-backed company. You will be the go-to HR partner for GTM employees and managers, working closely with HRBPs, leadership, and other internal functions to ensure every employee has a seamless experience with People systems, processes, and policies. This role primarily supports North America and APAC. You must have flexibility to support APAC business hours on an as-needed basis, typically between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM PT.

  • Take responsibility for distinct workstreams within HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management cycles, engagement programs, culture initiatives, and policy updates, delivering to a high standard with minimal instruction.

  • Use root cause analysis to diagnose recurring questions and issues, then build simple, scalable solutions that resolve them for good.

  • Using root cause analysis regularly identify, propose, and implement improvements to existing HR processes in partnership with HRBPs.

  • Manage HR investigations and lead Employee Relations actions with sound judgment, discretion, and thorough documentation.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR practices across the organization while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations (ADA, FMLA, EEO, and others).

  • Maintain HR systems and ensure the accuracy of employee data. Use data and analysis to surface trends, inform recommendations, and support HR reporting, metrics, and compliance audits.

  • Partner with HRBPs, leaders, and cross-functional departments to build scalable HR processes that support our growth, including global initiatives.

  • Build trusted relationships with managers and leaders, equipping them to lead their teams effectively.

What We're Looking For

  • 4-7 years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or similar position.

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal instruction, prioritizing your own workload and coordinating work with others.

  • Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees.

  • Experience implementing and enforcing HR policies and processes, and identifying and driving improvements to them.

  • Experience managing HR investigations and leading Employee Relations actions.

  • Comfort using data and analysis to inform recommendations and measure impact.

  • Thorough knowledge and application of relevant legal and compliance regulations (ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.).

  • Proficiency in GSuite and HR software programs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience working with a fast-growing company.

  • Experience creating HR policies and processes from the ground up.

  • Experience coaching or informally mentoring junior HR teammates.

  • Demonstrated ability to get up to speed quickly and begin building at lightning speed.
