On our team, you’ll work with SMEs and learning technologists to capture your customer’s training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission. Putting the learner at the center of the training experience, you’ll design creative learning solutions in a collaborative team environment. You’ll build training material with technical SMEs, following instructional design methodologies. You’ll use your technical skills, creativity, and experience to come up with new ideas to develop an engaging, interactive learning experience on screen or in a classroom. You’ll recommend cutting-edge learning solutions and strategies, including blended learning and gamification, to build a successful learning environment. You know communication is key, so you’ll meet with SMEs and product designers throughout the process to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback. To ensure your solution is hitting the mark, you’ll collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick Model, then fine-tune your training for maximum impact. You’ll be able to hone your leadership skills as you share your expertise through leadership and mentoring. As a member of the learning team, you’ll identify new opportunities to build solutions to your customer’s learning needs. You Have: 7+ years of experience performing instructional design tasks in a professional environment Experience designing training strategies and plans Experience designing instructor-led and web-based eLearning using training authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Lectora Experience designing and creating video-based learning as a teaching tool Experience applying accessibility and usability standards to adult learning solutions Experience interpreting data science content Ability to work autonomously and manage your own tasks Ability to analyze various sources of course content, including highly technical documents, to develop adult learning solutions Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: Experience working within the constraints of a learning management system Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
