Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:00 to 11:50 AM. Summary: The Science department is seeking an adjunct instructor for one section of BIO144 The Organism, an introductory biology course for first-year students in the biology, neuroscience and related majors. The lab that accompanies the course is taught separately by other faculty, so this appointment covers the lecture only. Responsibilities: Teach the lecture section on campus at the scheduled times. Prepare the syllabus, course materials, assignments and exams, aligned with department learning outcomes. Hold office hours, advise students on course questions and submit grades on time. Coordinate with the lab instructor and the department chair. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in biology or a closely related field, with relevant experience required.
