Job Description Help shape the future of payments: In this role, you will optimise processes and systems, support change and assist colleagues with complex payments-related questions. Work closely with business and IT teams and represent the business requirements of the payments function. Lead or support cross-departmental projects across the entire payments lifecycle – from planning and implementation through to post-launch stabilisation. Analyse, document and improve payments processes to enhance efficiency, quality, compliance and client satisfaction. Identify opportunities for automation and the responsible use of AI, and support the integration of new solutions into day-to-day operations. Assess the impact of new regulatory requirements, support their implementation and maintain process and control documentation. Support colleagues in front office and operations with complex process and system questions. Requirements Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification; a university degree in business administration, finance, business information systems or a related field is an advantage. Extensive experience in financial services and sound knowledge of the entire payments lifecycle, including payment systems, operational controls and Swiss and EU regulatory requirements. Demonstrated experience providing business expertise to complex, cross-departmental projects from a payments perspective. Ability to balance change objectives with operational stability, control quality and client needs. An analytical and structured approach, with the ability to clearly articulate business requirements as a basis for technical implementation and develop solutions together with a range of stakeholders. Strong IT skills and confidence using core banking and payment systems; knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage. Practical understanding of the opportunities, limitations and responsible use of AI in a banking environment. Very good written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
