In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing FPGA-based solutions for advanced power quality applications, contributing to the next generation of energy management technologies. How you’ll make an impact Design, implement, and verify complex FPGA architectures for real-time control, data acquisition, and signal processing in power quality systems. Develop VHDL/Verilog code, simulation testbenches, and verification strategies to ensure functional correctness and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including power electronics engineers, software developers, and system architects, to define requirements and integrate FPGA solutions. Perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and system-level debugging of FPGA designs. Optimize FPGA designs for performance, resource utilization, and power consumption. Document design specifications, implementation details, and test reports. Stay up-to-date with the latest FPGA technologies, development tools, and industry trends. Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. Your background Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in FPGA development using VHDL or Verilog for industrial or embedded applications. Experience with Xilinx or Lattice FPGA development tools. Proficiency in simulation and verification methodologies (e.g., QuestaSim, ModelSim). Python/TCL scripting and automation knowledge. Knowledge of power electronics concepts is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
