To support the scheduling needs of the department, candidates must have availability across all seven days and nights of the week. Scheduling will be based on department needs and available preceptor coverage. New caregivers must also be available to attend on-site orientation on Monday and Tuesday of their first week. In-person attendance during these initial orientation days helps provide a smooth and successful onboarding experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES Performs other duties as assigned. Carries out care as delegated by the RN. Receives report from RN daily by 0830 or 2030 to coordinate plan of care related to ADL's. Documents all ADL's for each patient every shift. Answers lights, or intercom system to determine patients' needs. Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring help. Transports patients or assists patients to walk. Runs errands, and direct visitors. Participates in admission/discharge activities. Accurately documents the care provided to patient during shift. Adheres to infection prevention strategies. Stock rooms with supplies. Stock isolation racks with supplies. Responsible to perform purposeful rounding.
