You’ll own the user experience of everything Thankly ships, both the apps we build for clients and our own platform. Designing for AI assistants is new. Each assistant has its own rules for what an app can show in a conversation, so you’ll set the patterns we use: product cards, comparisons, carousels, carts and checkout.
What you’ll do
- Design the shopping experience in client apps on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other assistants, from the first question through checkout.
- Design shoppable experiences that run on client websites and match each brand’s look and voice.
- Redesign the Thankly platform so client teams can easily set up, manage and measure their apps.
- Build a design system that lets us launch a new brand’s app quickly while keeping each brand distinct.
- Run quick usability tests with real shoppers and write specs and prototypes engineers can build from.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of full-time experience as a product or UX designer. Internships don’t count toward this.
- A portfolio of shipped work showing the problem, your process and the result.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, and fluency in Figma.
- Experience designing consumer products, ideally ecommerce or mobile.
- Experience with conversational or AI products, or prototyping in code, is a plus.
