What the Role Entails Tencent Cloud is growing its international media services business, helping OTT, social, gaming, education, and enterprise customers build and scale audio and video experiences on global cloud infrastructure. As a Media Services Solution Architect Intern based in Seoul, you will work alongside the regional sales and architecture teams to support pre-sales technical consultations, proof-of-concept validation, and customer-facing technical engagements in the Korean market — gaining hands-on exposure to live streaming, video on demand, transcoding, and real-time communication technologies in a global cloud environment. Support the regional sales team as a technical point of contact for Korean customers in the audio and video domain, assisting with pre-sales technical consultations and PoC setup and validation under the guidance of senior architects. Help analyze customers' media technology architectures and document their requirements and business values across scenarios such as OTT, social media, gaming, education, and enterprise video. Assist in mapping customer business and technical needs to Tencent Cloud media products and industry solutions, and prepare solution materials, demo environments, and case studies for international markets. Collect, structure, and communicate customer and industry requirements to the product development team, supporting the feedback loop between the Korea market and the product roadmap. Contribute to ecosystem and marketing initiatives — including channel enablement training, workshops, and Media Demo Day — and support the preparation of online and offline product and industry presentations. Who We Look For Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, cloud computing, or a related field, and available for an internship of at least three to six months. Professional fluency in Korean and English, written and spoken; Mandarin Chinese is a plus. Foundational knowledge of audio and video technologies such as live streaming, video on demand, encoding and decoding (H.264/HEVC/AV1), and network transmission protocols; prior hands-on experience with a public cloud platform or a media streaming project is a plus. Strong customer service mindset and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones with regional sales, architecture, product, and channel teams, and willingness to travel within Korea and occasionally across APAC for customer workshops and industry events.
