What are we looking for? What are we looking for? We are looking for a highly motivated and influential Mining Supervisor to join our safety and result-driven team. The position is permanent full time working a Lifestyle Roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses. In this role you will be responsible for: Supervising and instructing personnel within the immediate team to meet planned outcomes and to hold members of the team accountable to expected standards of behaviour and performance. Monitor tasks being carried out by immediate team as well as contracting support, to ensure they are undertaken in a safe manner and comply with applicable policies, plans and procedures, standards. Leading by example by providing visible and credible direction to achieve a safe and achievement-oriented approach to work. Identifying and communicating risks associated with health and safety as well as environmental impacts. Overseeing people management issues in area of responsibility including input to training and development of team members. Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the Mangoola Coal values. Promoting positive relationships with our stakeholders & community; and Taking all reasonable steps to minimise impact on the environment. About you: You will hold a NSW Open Cut Examiners Practising Certificate. You have experience in people leadership of personnel in frontline roles. You have knowledge and experience Mining Waste and Coal with Hydraulic Excavators and Loaders. You have extensive knowledge in a Production Mining environment. You can demonstrate sound literacy in Excel, Word and other associated Microsoft packages. You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates. You have the ability to work in high pressure situations with competing workplace priorities. You have the ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a constantly changing environment. You demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively. You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
