As Creative Lead, you will set the creative vision and direction for brand identity, campaigns and customer touchpoints. You will lead and elevate a multidisciplinary creative team, inspiring the ambition and bravery to challenge conventions and create standout work.
You will combine bold creative thinking and exceptional craft with strong brand ownership, business understanding and the pace to deliver impact. Working closely with Brand, Marketing and Product, you will translate consumer insights and business challenges into distinctive ideas and connected experiences that deepen brand love and drive action.
In this role, you will champion Generative AI and automated creative workflows, strengthening how foodora explores, creates and scales its work while maintaining exceptional craft and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead and elevate an ambitious team, encouraging the bravery to challenge conventions and push creative boundaries. Lead with clarity, empathy and conviction, developing talent, strengthening trust and nurturing ownership and creative confidence.
- Creative Direction & Excellence: Raise the creative bar through bold ideas and exceptional craft, grounded in a deep understanding of consumers. Shape a distinctive foodora brand that connects emotionally and cuts through competitive clutter. Stay hands-on in shaping concepts and guiding execution.
- Brand & Experience Strategy: Connect brand, social and in-app experiences, with particular focus on how customers discover, browse and shop. Balance brand personality, food appeal and local relevance with commercial impact.
- Cross-Department Alignment: Bring Brand, Marketing and Product together from brief to launch. Champion ideas with clear communication, align stakeholders and direct agency and production partners towards a shared creative ambition.
- AI Vision & Operational Scaling: Embed AI into creative exploration, production and adaptation to improve quality, speed and scale. Establish clear priorities and efficient workflows across markets.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in design agency or in-house team, with 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary design teams in fast-scaling tech, e-commerce, or Q-commerce.
- AI Proficiency: Deep understanding of how AI models reshape product experiences, design systems, and creative production pipelines.
- Leadership & Influence: Proven track record of scaling teams, establishing design ops, and presenting design-led AI innovation strategies to C-suite stakeholders.
- Portfolio: Demonstrates high-impact work, strategic system design, and instances of leveraging modern AI tooling to accelerate team output.
