Product Manager.

FULL TIMEREMOTEPRODUCT$100K–130K/YR

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager based in the United States.

The Product Manager will oversee the development and production of jewelry collections and packaging, guiding products from initial design concepts through manufacturing and final delivery. This role combines product development, international sourcing, vendor management, and cost optimization to ensure successful product launches. Working closely with Design, Product Development, and internal teams, you will translate creative concepts into production-ready products while maintaining quality and design standards. You will manage overseas manufacturing partners, negotiate pricing, and monitor production schedules to meet business objectives. The position also plays a key role in managing product margins, resolving operational challenges, and coordinating quality assurance and logistics. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on product quality, profitability, and the timely delivery of new collections.

Accountabilities:

The Product Manager will coordinate the full product lifecycle, ensuring that jewelry collections and packaging are developed and delivered according to design specifications, quality expectations, budget requirements, and launch schedules. Key responsibilities include:

    • Partner with Design and Product Development teams to turn concepts into production-ready products, overseeing material selection, sampling, revisions, and approvals.

    • Manage relationships with overseas manufacturers and vendors, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, and delivery commitments.

    • Oversee product costing and margin management, identifying opportunities to improve profitability while preserving product quality and design intent.

    • Build and maintain product development calendars, production schedules, and key milestones to support on-time collection launches.

    • Coordinate manufacturing, quality testing, shipping, and delivery with vendors, import partners, and internal stakeholders.

    • Manage packaging development and production, including sampling, cost analysis, approvals, and timelines.

    • Proactively identify and resolve production issues, communicate project progress and potential risks, and maintain accurate product and vendor documentation.

    • Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in product development, production, sourcing, or vendor management within jewelry, fashion accessories, or related consumer product industries. They combine strong manufacturing knowledge with commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across international supply chains. Additional qualifications include:

      • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

      • At least 5 years of relevant experience in product development, production, sourcing, or vendor management.

      • Demonstrated experience managing overseas manufacturers, product costing, vendor negotiations, and production timelines.

      • Experience in fashion jewelry manufacturing and international sourcing is strongly preferred.

      • Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing methods, materials, and quality standards.

      • Proven ability to negotiate with vendors, analyze costs, and manage product margins.

      • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with product management or ERP systems.

      • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively across departments and international time zones.

      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.

      • Must currently reside in one of the following states and be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona, or Utah. Applicants residing outside these states will not be considered.

      • Benefits:

        • Annual compensation of $100,000–$130,000, depending on experience.

        • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.

        • Health, dental, and vision insurance.

        • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA).

        • Employee Assistance Program.

        • Short-term and long-term disability insurance.

        • Employer-paid group life insurance.

        • Company-paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

        • Employee product discounts.
