Senior Oracle HCM Consultant (Benefits Lead).

FULL TIMEREMOTESENIOR LEVEL

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Oracle HCM Consultant (Benefits Lead) based in the United States.

As a senior functional consultant, you will lead Oracle Cloud HCM implementation workstreams, serving as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert with a particular focus on Benefits. You will guide clients through the implementation lifecycle, translating complex business needs into effective, scalable solutions. Working across multiple industries and global projects, you will combine hands-on configuration expertise with solution architecture, requirements analysis, testing, and documentation. You will lead client discussions, facilitate decisions, and help stakeholders navigate implementation challenges with confidence. The role also offers opportunities to mentor colleagues, contribute to internal initiatives, and shape best practices in a collaborative, remote-first consulting environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead Oracle Cloud HCM implementation workstreams, acting as the functional authority in Benefits and other areas of expertise.

    • Advise clients on Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities, implementation approaches, and functional best practices.

    • Configure Oracle Cloud HCM applications to meet business requirements and document application setups.

    • Gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and contribute to systems architecture and functional decisions.

    • Lead in-depth client discussions, explain complex functionality, and facilitate or negotiate decisions when needed.

    • Support implementation activities including testing, debugging, reporting, and end-user documentation.

    • Apply experience across multiple projects, industries, and global or cross-pillar HCM environments.

    • Mentor and support project team members, contribute to training, and assist with internal initiatives.

    • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing learning, training, and relevant certifications.

    • Oversee project staff workflows and responsibilities when required, and contribute to constructive performance feedback.

    • Deliver high-quality work on schedule while adapting to changing project priorities and client needs.

    • Requirements:

      • At least 3 years of experience in a Functional HCM Lead role, including exposure to global, cross-pillar Cloud HCM projects.

      • Participation in at least 3 Oracle Cloud HCM implementation projects and/or go-lives, preferably involving multiple pillars and global deployments.

      • Strong functional expertise in at least 2 Oracle Cloud HCM areas, with Benefits as the lead focus; additional relevant areas include Time and Labor, Absence Management, Recruiting, and Talent.

      • Hands-on experience configuring Oracle Cloud HCM applications and designing solutions that address client business requirements.

      • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

      • Strong understanding of IT practices, Oracle principles, implementation planning, requirements gathering, and reporting tools.

      • Excellent analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with the creativity to architect solutions rather than simply apply existing configurations.

      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence leading client discussions and collaborating across teams.

      • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage competing priorities.

      • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools, and the ability to learn specialized applications quickly.

      • Willingness and ability to travel as required by client projects; travel frequency and destinations may vary.

      • Availability to work full-time during standard business hours, with occasional work outside those hours when project needs require it.

      • Benefits:

        • Comprehensive medical insurance options, including PPO, high-deductible, and copay plans, with a wellness program and telehealth services.

        • Health Savings Account (HSA) and full or limited-purpose Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

        • Dental and vision insurance options.

        • Voluntary critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity coverage.

        • Profit-sharing program and 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility.

        • Employer-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.

        • Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage.

        • Dependent care FSA and additional voluntary life insurance.

        • Prepaid legal services and pet insurance options.

        • Paid time off, paid sick leave, and paid holidays.

        • Flexible scheduling and remote work arrangements.

        • Travel incentive and employee discount marketplace.

        • Learning and development opportunities and an Employee Assistance Program.

        • Biweekly pay through direct deposit.
