As a Senior Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of web applications, APIs, and integrated systems. You will lead both manual and automated testing initiatives, with a strong focus on building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and other testing technologies. Working closely with development, product, and technical teams, you will help embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will contribute to end-to-end testing, defect prevention, and continuous improvement across diverse technology platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern development frameworks, backend systems, and telephony technologies. Join a remote-first engineering environment where technical expertise, analytical thinking, and quality excellence are highly valued.

Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases based on product requirements, technical specifications, and business needs.

    • Build, maintain, and enhance robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing, with a particular focus on Playwright.

    • Perform end-to-end testing of web applications, APIs, and telephony systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and seamless integration.

    • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

    • Identify, document, track, and manage defects using tools such as JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.

    • Analyze test results, identify defect trends, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to development teams.

    • Ensure adequate test coverage and compliance with performance and quality benchmarks before product releases.

    • Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews to improve testability and ensure the quality of deliverables.

    • Validate application functionality across different components and environments, identifying potential issues before deployment.

    • Continuously improve QA processes, automation strategies, testing tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and reliability.

    • Support release readiness by providing comprehensive testing feedback and quality assessments.

    • Requirements:

      • 10+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, combining manual and automation testing.

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a Master's qualification such as MCA or M.Sc. in Information Technology.

      • Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Playwright, as well as Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Newman, Pytest, or equivalent technologies.

      • Advanced scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java for developing and maintaining automated test solutions.

      • Experience testing web applications built with PHP, ReactJS, and Node.js.

      • Strong expertise in RESTful API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or custom automation scripts.

      • Experience with UI, API, backend, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

      • Familiarity with telephony systems, preferably Asterisk or similar Voice over IP (VoIP) platforms.

      • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and Jenkins.

      • Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and their application in software development environments.

      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with exceptional attention to detail.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

      • Ability to work independently, manage testing priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

      • Nice to Have:

        • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.

        • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

        • ISTQB certification or other recognized Quality Assurance certifications.

        • Experience optimizing automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

        • Benefits:

          • Fully remote working arrangement within India.

          • Full-time employment opportunity.

          • Opportunity to work on diverse web applications, APIs, and integrated technology platforms.

          • Exposure to modern automation technologies, including Playwright and other industry-leading testing frameworks.

          • Opportunity to contribute to software quality strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

          • Collaboration with experienced professionals across engineering, product, and technology teams.

          • Professional growth through challenging projects involving automation, API testing, cloud technologies, and telephony systems.
