ServiceNow Business Analyst.

FULL TIMEREMOTE$95K–110K/YR

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow Business Analyst based in the United States.

As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will support federal IT transformation initiatives by translating complex business needs into practical technology solutions. Working closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, and senior client leadership, you will gather requirements, facilitate collaboration, and help deliver effective ServiceNow implementations. You will play an important role throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements analysis and documentation to story validation and testing. This client-facing position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments. You will contribute to projects that improve business processes and support mission-critical operations. The role is fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Accountabilities

You will act as a key link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective ServiceNow solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders across federal agencies.

    • Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business challenges and identify appropriate ServiceNow solutions.

    • Translate stakeholder needs into clear functional requirements and actionable development stories.

    • Collaborate with development teams throughout implementation to ensure solutions align with business expectations.

    • Support the testing and validation of completed user stories to confirm that deliverables meet requirements.

    • Prepare, maintain, and communicate project documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Engage regularly with client stakeholders, including senior leadership, to communicate progress, clarify requirements, and address project needs.

    • Contribute to business and technology transformation initiatives through structured analysis and practical recommendations.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience with strong business analysis capabilities and the communication skills needed to work effectively in a federal consulting environment. The following qualifications are required:

      • Bachelor's degree.

      • At least 4 years of direct experience supporting management consulting and/or technology transformation initiatives, preferably within federal government consulting.

      • At least 1 year of hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience.

      • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.

      • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification.

      • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

      • Experience with ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and Customer Service Management (CSM).

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently to senior client stakeholders.

      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

      • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

      • U.S. citizenship is mandatory, with the ability to obtain USDA Suitability.

      • Benefits

        • Annual salary range of $95,000–$110,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

        • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.

        • Preference for candidates based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

        • No travel required.

        • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful federal IT and technology transformation initiatives.

        • Professional development opportunities through exposure to complex projects and collaborative technical teams.

        • Inclusive, people-focused working environment that values curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
