Brazil

Technical SEO Specialist.

FULL TIMEREMOTESALES & MARKETING$2,200–3,000/MO

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical SEO Specialist based in Brazil.

We are seeking a hands-on Technical SEO Specialist to manage and improve the technical performance of a diverse portfolio of client websites.
You will conduct in-depth audits across multi-location brands and franchise networks, identifying issues that affect crawling, indexing, rankings, and organic traffic.
Working closely with SEO leadership, developers, and content specialists, you will turn technical findings into clear implementation plans and measurable improvements.
You will also take ownership of website migration diagnostics, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and local SEO architecture.
Through structured optimization sprints and post-release quality assurance, you will help protect search visibility and strengthen organic performance.
This is an opportunity to apply advanced technical SEO expertise in a collaborative, fully remote environment serving established businesses across North America.

Accountabilities

As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will oversee technical audits, diagnose complex website issues, and coordinate implementation and validation of improvements across multiple client accounts.

    • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits across multi-location and national franchise networks, including portfolios of WordPress websites and custom web platforms.

    • Develop repeatable audit templates, automated workflows, and standardized technical documentation to ensure consistent quality across a high-volume portfolio.

    • Lead targeted website optimization sprints by identifying critical technical bottlenecks, prioritizing fixes, and reporting measurable before-and-after results.

    • Design and improve local landing page hierarchies, multi-location website structures, and structured data implementations using Schema.org.

    • Optimize Core Web Vitals and other technical factors affecting website performance and search visibility.

    • Diagnose and resolve organic traffic declines following website redesigns, domain migrations, or CMS transitions.

    • Audit and configure redirect maps, indexation rules, canonical tags, internal linking structures, and rendering performance.

    • Monitor crawl budget allocation, XML sitemaps, robots.txt directives, and search engine rendering behavior.

    • Improve visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search platforms.

    • Write clear, actionable technical tickets for developers and content editors, including precise implementation requirements.

    • Perform post-deployment quality assurance to confirm that fixes have been implemented correctly and monitor their impact on indexation and rankings.

    • Translate complex technical SEO findings into concise, client-ready summaries and performance reports for Account Managers.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong technical SEO expertise, practical website troubleshooting experience, and the communication skills needed to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.

      • At least 3 years of dedicated, hands-on technical SEO experience, preferably within a digital marketing agency, with a proven record of improving organic performance.

      • Advanced proficiency with technical crawling and analytics tools, including Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Ahrefs or Semrush.

      • Demonstrated experience managing or recovering website migrations, including diagnosing and resolving indexing, redirect, and rendering issues.

      • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Schema.org structured data, canonicalization, HTTP status codes, and WordPress CMS administration.

      • Practical experience optimizing multi-location brands, local landing page architecture, Google Business Profile integrations, and regional search visibility.

      • Strong written English communication skills, with the ability to prepare precise developer specifications and communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders.

      • Full-time availability from Monday to Friday, with at least 5 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time business hours.

      • A suitable remote workspace with a high-performance computer, HD webcam, headset, and reliable high-speed internet connection.

      • Preferred Qualifications

        • Experience with scripting, data manipulation, or automation tools such as Python, advanced Google Sheets formulas, or SEO APIs such as DataForSEO.

        • Familiarity with property management, real estate, or local service enterprise business models.

        • Benefits

          • Monthly base salary of USD $2,200–$3,000, depending on experience, paid in USD.

          • Full-time, 100% remote position from anywhere in Latin America.

          • Direct ownership of technical SEO performance across national franchise accounts.

          • Collaborative environment working alongside an experienced SEO Manager, web developers, and content strategists.

          • Opportunity to contribute to advanced technical SEO initiatives and measurable organic growth.
