Position Overview
We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented, and motivated Battery Pack Assemblers to join our team in Farmington Hills.
This is a hands-on position involving the assembly of custom battery packs at a workstation using detailed instructions, precision tools, and specialized equipment. Employees will work with small components that require careful handling, accurate placement, and close attention to detail.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, has good hand-eye coordination, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality products. This role is well suited for individuals who enjoy detailed work, repetitive tasks, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the workday.
Reliability and attendance are extremely important in this position. We are looking for individuals who arrive on time, maintain consistent attendance, and can be counted on to contribute to daily production goals.
Previous manufacturing experience is not required. We welcome candidates with experience in electronics, soldering, jewelry making, small-parts assembly, or other hands-on activities requiring precision and patience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom battery packs by following written instructions, diagrams, and production specifications.
- Handle, position, and connect small components with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure components are properly aligned, positioned, and assembled according to specifications.
- Operate specialized assembly equipment and perform soldering tasks as required.
- Apply insulation and protective materials to completed battery assemblies.
- Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, and connection issues.
- Use basic testing equipment to verify product quality and performance.
- Perform repetitive, precision-based assembly tasks while maintaining consistent productivity.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and proper battery-handling procedures.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience is an asset but not required. We encourage applications from individuals with backgrounds in:
- Electronics repair or hobby electronics.
- Soldering and circuit board assembly.
- Wire harness assembly or small-parts assembly.
- Medical device manufacturing or laboratory work.
- Jewelry making, jewelry repair, or other detailed handwork.
- Any position involving precision assembly, fine motor skills, or repetitive hands-on tasks.
No previous factory experience is necessary! Candidates with good hand-eye coordination, patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
