About Our Client
Our client is a well-established independent insurance agency based out of Oxford, CT, and serving clients across the USA. With a strong reputation for performance and client service excellence, the agency offers both personal and commercial insurance solutions. The team culture is built on professionalism, accountability, and community involvement, creating an environment where high performers thrive and long term careers are built.

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Full-Time Receptionist to join our agency. As the agency’s first point of contact for clients, prospective clients, and insurance carriers—whether by phone, email, or in person—you will play an important role in creating a positive and professional experience for everyone who interacts with the office. This role goes beyond traditional receptionist responsibilities and includes a variety of administrative duties to help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities may include:

    • Answer incoming phone calls, route calls to the appropriate team members, and take accurate messages as needed.
    • Greet walk-in clients, prospective clients, visitors, and insurance company representatives in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and reception area.
    • Provide a positive customer experience while demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and strong communication skills.
  • Administrative Support
    • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
    • Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
    • Scan documents into the agency management system and attach them to the appropriate client or policy record.
    • Make copies, organize paperwork, and assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
    • Assist with creating and assembling insurance policy binders and other client materials as requested.
    • Handle client information and agency records with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
    • Set up conference rooms for client and agency meetings.
    • Provide day-to-day administrative support to licensed account managers, agents, and other team members to help maintain efficient office operations.

Requirements

  • Professional telephone presence and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
