An exciting opportunity for an electrical Technician to join our Stevenage Manufacturing Operations team in a fast-paced but friendly and inclusive Manufacturing environment. Salary: Circa £42,500 dependent on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. You will: Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasks. Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle. Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and where relevant, inspection times are met. Check and complete all required manufacturing data requirements. Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality. Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process. Certify the product in line with the product certification procedure. Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits. Maintain a safe working environment. Maintain a good housekeeping policy. Communicate best practice to other team members. What we're looking for from you: Qualifications required (all of the below): Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Apprenticeship (Advanced Level or L3 Standard) Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, diploma, etc.) Electrical Engineering / Manufacturing Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ) *Not required if a L3 apprenticeship standard has been achieved The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.
