It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. Make an Impact: As a volunteer of the SAES you'll often be found in the midst of crisis and disaster situations nationally and internationally. Whether it’s a natural disaster like a cyclone, flood, bushfire or earthquake, or an incident such as a transport accident, structure fire or missing person search, SAES volunteers meet communities at their point of need. Be a force for good: Whether it's as a Response Team on the ground providing catering services to state emergency services such as police, fire and other first responders, as well as in evacuation and recovery centres. Or as part of our Recovery Teams stepping in to provide services in support of the medium- and long-term needs of the community. This assistance can include financial assistance, material aid and personal support. SAES volunteers are a force for good! Build Lifelong Friendships: SAES Teams welcome everyone with open arms. Forge lasting friendships, connect with like-minded individuals, and experience the joy of belonging to a caring, supportive community of volunteers. Embrace Diversity: We believe in embracing diversity and empowering individuals from all walks of life. No matter your background, age, or experience, you're welcome and valued here. Find Fulfillment in Service: Join us in our mission to provide hope, support, and empowerment to those in need. Experience the deep fulfillment that comes from making a positive impact on the lives of others and being part of something greater than yourself. Want to know more about what we do?
