Provide support to the transport supervisor in the allocation of vehicles and drivers through planning and absence controls Control operations by strategically deploying vehicles to maximise efficiency across the contract Collaborate with colleagues, internal and external customers, and third parties to ensure outstanding customer service Provide hands-on IT support to your team; and drive continuous improvement by assessing driver performance and identifying learning opportunities Complete driving assessments Coordinate breakdown and recovery services Drive and operate rigid and when required articulated vehicles (subject to appropriate licence category) to transport waste and recycling materials Complete paper and digital records of work activity What are we looking for? Similar operational supervisory experience IOSH Managing Safely Level 3 Team Leadership or equivalent experience HGV Class 2 Licence - (Class 1 Licence desirable) Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card What’s next?
