David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a global iGaming technology and online casino platform provider currently looking to hire a Onboarding (Underwriting) Compliance Specialist to join their growing team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct comprehensive Know Your Customer (KYC) and due diligence checks on new and existing partners
Collect, verify, certify and securely maintain KYC documentation in line with regulatory requirements
Perform risk assessments and recommend approvals or escalations based on compliance findings
Ensure compliance with AML, CTF, FATCA, OFAC and other applicable regulatory frameworks
Monitor partner activities for suspicious behaviour and escalate potential compliance risks where necessary
Lead the compliance review during partner onboarding, including verification of identity, ownership, business structure and financial standing
Ensure onboarding documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Prepare and submit regulatory reports and compliance assessments accurately and on time
Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of compliance process updates
Assist in developing, maintaining and improving KYC, underwriting and compliance policies and procedures
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Business, Projects and other internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation
Support audits and communicate with external auditors, regulators and business partners when required
Deliver compliance training and guidance on KYC procedures, regulatory requirements and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, KYC, Underwriting or a similar regulatory role
Experience within the FinTech industry is preferred
Strong knowledge of AML, CTF and financial crime compliance requirements
Familiarity with FATCA, OFAC, gaming regulations and similar regulatory frameworks
Experience conducting KYC, due diligence and risk assessments
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to explain compliance requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Experience using compliance, risk management or KYC software and tools
High level of integrity, professionalism and ethical standards
Experience within the iGaming industry is an advantage.
