Erforderliche Qualifikationen: Abgeschlossene Schulausbildung, zuzüglich dem Abschluss spezieller Lehrgänge über Service an tragbaren Löschgeräten oder einem vergleichbaren Arbeitsfeld. Erfolgreicher Abschluß der Sachkunde nach DIN 14406-4 (EN3-3) und TRBS 1203. Muss geistig und körperlich geeignet sein, sämtliche Aufgaben zu erfüllen insbesondere das Heben leichter und schwerer Gegenstände Führerschein mindestens Klasse B erforderlich. Ausreichende Kenntnisse in Englisch und Deutsch erforderlich um Anweisungen verstehen und Dokumente ausfüllen zu können. Weitere Verantwortlichkeiten: Arbeitsumgebung, Körperliche Anforderungen und Geistige Anforderungen: Während der Ausführung der Tätigkeiten in dieser Position ist der/die Mitarbeiter/in häufig verpflichtet zu gehen; die Hände zum Greifen, Führen oder Tasten zu benutzen; mit den Händen und Armen zu greifen; zu sprechen oder zu hören sowie zu riechen oder zu schmecken. Erforderlich sind außerdem das Arbeiten auf Leitern, Gerüsten und Plattformen, Stehen, Bücken und Arbeiten in engen Bereichen; das Heben und Tragen von Werkzeugen und Ausrüstung, die gelegentlich mehr als 40 Pfund (ca. 18 kg) wiegen können. Zu den spezifischen Sehanforderungen gehören Nahsicht, Fernsicht, Farbsehen, peripheres Sehen sowie die Fähigkeit, den Fokus anzupassen. Während der Ausführung der Tätigkeiten ist der/die Mitarbeiter/in häufig beweglichen mechanischen Teilen ausgesetzt und gelegentlich nassen und/oder feuchten Bedingungen; großen Höhen; Dämpfen oder Partikeln in der Luft; giftigen oder ätzenden Chemikalien; Außenwetterbedingungen; extremer Kälte; extremer Hitze; sowie dem Risiko elektrischer Schläge. Der Geräuschpegel in der Arbeitsumgebung ist in der Regel moderat. Required Qualifications: · Works in the fire extinguisher repair department · Responsible for maintenance, repair, storage, inventory control and issuance of fire extinguishers and accessories · Responsible for technically correct and proper inspection of portable fire extinguishers of all classes and their associated components · Familiar with transfer/filling systems and pressure vessels used for portable fire extinguishers · Works primarily with hazardous substances · Follows company procedures and meets DIN, EN, UVV and ISO requirements · Maintains all operationally and legally required work records · Participates in further training in the company's interest · Works in company workshops and at other Kaiserslautern Project work locations · Performs other operationally necessary duties as directed by the supervisor · May be assigned outdoor work at any time Familiar with commonly used materials, machinery, tools, operating equipment and work equipment In addition to the duties listed in this job description, each employee must, as directed by the supervisor, perform other duties that are inherent to the position or operationally necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
