What You'll Do: Trend Horizon Scanning: Continuously research and analyze global emerging trends across technology, consumer behavior, market dynamics, and societal shifts, particularly those impacting the financial services industry. Insight Generation: Translate complex trend data into clear, compelling insights and potential opportunities for DBS, identifying areas for disruption and growth. Experimentation Design & Execution: Design, develop, and lead rapid experiments and proofs-of-concept (POCs) to test the viability and potential impact of emerging technologies and innovative ideas within DBS. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various business units (e.g., Retail, Corporate Banking, Technology) to understand their needs and integrate innovative solutions into their strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings, insights, and experiment results to senior management and key stakeholders, advocating for promising initiatives and influencing strategic direction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior experience in the financial services industry or a strong understanding of its landscape is a plus.
