What You'll Do
- Update and version menus across locations: seasonal menus, new items, removed items, pricing changes and monthly features
- Build test menus for one or two locations at a time, adjusting layouts as items are added, swapped or removed
- Apply state- and market-specific requirements accurately across menu versions
- Produce collateral that supports the menu, such as chef recommendations, wine pairing inserts, tasting menus and holiday menus
- Work directly with the menu and strategy team to receive changes, ask the right questions and turn around revisions quickly
- Prepare print-ready files with correct bleeds, color profiles and preflight standards for a local print partner
- Proof every version carefully for pricing, spelling, alignment and consistency before release
- Keep files, templates and versions organized so the latest menu is always easy to find
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in production design, menu design or high-volume print production
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, plus working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Solid understanding of print production: bleeds, color profiles, image resolution and file packaging
- An exceptional eye for detail; you catch the misaligned price and the missing accent mark
- Comfort working within existing templates and brand guidelines rather than reinventing them
- Ability to manage many small, fast-turn requests at once without losing track of versions
- Clear, responsive communication with non-design stakeholders
- Restaurant, hospitality or retail menu experience is a strong plus
