ITP Media Group is looking for a proactive, dynamic, and detail-orientated assistant to support the Deputy Managing Director / Managing Director with the running and logistics of its content and events departments.
The Content & Projects Assistant serves as a central point across consumer and business brands including Time Out and ahlan, Construction Week and Caterer, supporting projects and events by tracking timelines, monitoring activities, and creating content. The ideal candidate is mad about media, collaborative, and adaptable – ready to jump in and juggle multiple projects at once.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Liaise with design, content, video, and events departments to compile assets for internal and external projects, pitches and meetings.
· Track key editorial and events deadlines, following up with teams to ensure projects are on track and roadblocks are cleared.
· Serve as a communication bridge between leadership, editors and central services, ensuring clear and timely updates, tracking and reporting.
· Undertake special editorial, events or admin projects ad-hoc, with flair and accuracy.
· Assist with project coordination and cross-department communications.
· Create Canva presentations, templates, and mock graphics for upcoming projects, events, and launches.
· Research industry trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
· Support the events department with pre, on-site, and post-event logistics.
· Manage calendars, organise meetings, and share scheduling updates.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· At least two years of experience in media or events business.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once and prioritise effectively.
· Proactive and dependable with the ability to anticipate roadblocks.
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Experience in content creation for events, editorial, or social media.
· Strong grasp of Canva, Microsoft Suite, CRM, and CMS software.
· Understanding of the media landscape in the Middle East, with a passion for all things media and content creation.
· A balance between creative and analytical thinking.
· Ability to understand the importance of and maintain confidentiality related to the business and employees.
· Fluent English, fluent Arabic desirable.
