Hours of Job Part time, 20 hours per week. Hours vary from 5:15 a.m. - 1:45 p.m., 6:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m., 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m. Weekend Rotation is required. Duties and Key Responsibilities Creates a positive impression for each patient, family member, visitor or staff while pre-admitting, admitting and/or registering, routing, or escorting patients, family, or visitors, serving as entity resource. Registers inpatient, and outpatient when needed. In addition, obtains necessary signatures, completes paperwork, and distributes correctly. Checks and rechecks all paperwork before it leaves the area for complete information and accuracy. Requirements Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs. Education/Certifications High school graduate or equivalent. Experience Previous Admitting/Registration experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical insurance is preferred.
