Requirements
- Personal experience in recovery from substance use or mental health disorders.
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (or ability to obtain certification within a specified timeframe).
- Strong understanding of recovery principles and best practices in peer support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients.
- Ability to relate to clients and effectively share personal recovery experiences.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services available for individuals in recovery.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.
