We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused After Office Hours (AOH) Marine Travel Consultant to join our team in Mumbai and provide critical travel support for global marine operations.
Key Responsibilities
Arrange and manage domestic and international travel bookings for marine crew members of multiple nationalities.
Prepare, coordinate, and monitor complex travel itineraries, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
Handle urgent, last-minute, and emergency travel requirements with minimal supervision.
Issue, reissue, exchange, and refund airline tickets in accordance with airline policies and client requirements.
Provide after-hours travel support to vessels, crew managers, and stakeholders across different time zones.
Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, routing restrictions, and ticketing procedures.
Coordinate crew change travel arrangements while maintaining uninterrupted operational support.
Assist with visa-related travel requirements, transit regulations, and seafarer documentation.
Liaise effectively with airlines, travel partners, agents, and internal stakeholders to resolve travel issues promptly.
Maintain accurate booking records and ensure adherence to company procedures and service standards.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a marine travel agency or marine travel environment.
Proven experience handling:
Marine crew travel bookings
Multi-national crew movements
International flight reservations and ticketing
✅ Strong knowledge of:
Airline fare construction and routing
Ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, and exchanges
Travel documentation requirements
✅ Hands-on experience with:
Galileo GDS
Amadeus GDS
✅ Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
✅ Ability to:
Work independently with minimal supervision
Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Meet strict deadlines and service-level expectations
✅ Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required for after-office-hours operations.
